Terms of Payment

Workshops are separately ticketed and invoiced. Payment terms are 14 days from date of invoice.

Workshop places are limited. If a payment is not received or payment method is declined after 14 days, the registrant will forfeit their position in the workshop.

Covid-19 Disclaimer

Our primary concern is the safety and health of event attendees, speakers and campsite staff.

All campsites will provide accessible and Covid-safe training spaces, with care and respect for local conditions.

If you are sick, have been sick, have an elevated temperature, are awaiting test results or have been recently exposed to Covid-19, please do not attend a Tech Camp Contact Workshop in person. Please advise the Secretariat at kim@vala.org.au and, if places allow, we will make arrangements to join the Virtual Workshop on the same topic. If we cannot accommodate you into a Virtual Workshop, a full refund will be provided.

In the instance that a campsite location is affected by a worsening Covid-19 situation, VALA reserves the right to alter the delivery method of Contact Workshops. Our first priority will be to reschedule the workshop session/s as a virtual event, with the time, speakers, topics and registration essentially the same. Registrants will be provided with links to the Zoom platform by email.

Cancellation

Registrants who experience a change of circumstances are able to cancel their registration at any time; change of mind is not considered legitimate cause for cancellation.  In the event of a cancellation, VALA requests as much notice as possible in order to reassign the place; numbers are very limited for Tech Camp 2021 and all places are valued.

VALA is not liable for any costs incurred by registrants who cancel their attendance or are a “no show” without valid cause.

Transfer

Transfer of registration must be requested by email to the VALA Secretariat (kim@vala.org.au) by 5 April 2021; there is no processing fee for transfers.  All efforts will be made to support transfers after this date but cannot be guaranteed.
