Abstract
Through the functions of digitisation, ingestion, access and preservation, large amounts of metadata are created to facilitate the discovery of the National Library Singapore’s rich digital collections. The National Library Singapore developed readily available metadata of its digital collections into open datasets which can be further used for exploration, research and analysis of our digital collections, open innovation to generate new products or services, the teaching of data courses for Singapore students to provide a local context, and data export for resource listings.
